The Signal Group provides senior decision makers with actionable assessments of the events, trends and forces shaping the competitive environment in China and other important emerging markets.

History

Based in the United States, The Signal Group was founded in 2005 on the premise that applying expertise and key methodologies from competitive intelligence, corporate strategy and sophisticated economic assessment provide senior policymakers and institutional investors with the improved ‘signal-to-noise’ ratio needed to reduce risks and maximize opportunities in emerging markets.

Since then, the Group has developed close partnerships with leading institutions in the academic, business, government and media sectors, and helped inform major investment and strategic decisions for clients operating in these fast-changing market environments.

In 2011, due to increasing demand for the Group’s assessments - and in particular those regarding China’s economic and political development - the firm launched EmergingSignals, a subscription-only insights and data service designed for individual and group accounts.

EmergingSignals: China, to be followed by services for India and Brazil, ensures that subscribers understand not only what is happening, but why it is happening, and what it means.
